There have no "set" pricing for our photo repair and restoration services, due in fact that there are unlimited possibilities as to what exactly needs to be done to each individual photo.

Some are simple jobs that only require an hour or less to complete, such as simple color-casting and/or minor scratches or dust specs, while other jobs get quite complex requiring several hours of work restoring badly damaged photos.

Please remember however, you are not under any obligation to pay for anything that you are not thrilled with and wish to order prints for. Ours is strictly a "try before you buy" type of operation. The risk is wholly ours.

To be totally honest though, sure, we really hope that you love our work and will order prints, that's how we make our living, but at no time are you in any way obligated. We are therefore very motivated to do the very best work possible, so that you are indeed impressed with what you see and want to order.

OK, so how much?

For each completed photo, we assign a fair and competitive price for various size prints, based on how simple or complex the repair and/or restoration of your photo became. Complex, difficult, and more time consuming jobs will have a higher price for prints, and conversely, the simpler and easier jobs will have a lower price. It really depends on what we have to do.

Here are a few example "guidelines" for what type of photograpic issues might fall into which restoration categories: (just to give you a "ball-park" idea)

Here is an example of a photo requiring "Light" repair or restoration work: There are some very minor scratches and a little bit of "silvering" on the lady's dress along with an overall sepia color casting to be corrected.

Here is an example of a photo requiring "Moderate" repair or restoration work: Besides the overall sepia color casting to be corrected, there are also a few gouges and creases in non-critical (non-facial) areas to be repaired.

Here is an example of a photo requiring "Heavy" repair or restoration work: This is an original "Tin-Type" photo that was developed onto metal (tin). It has oxidized on the lower-right half, has an overall darkening to be corrected, multiple splotches, stains, and blemishes, and really needed a background change to enhance the image.

Here is an example of a photo requiring "Extreme" repair or restoration work: There are heavy and critical (facial) areas that require complete reconstruction. In areas, there is simply nothing to work with. Typically, this type of restoration requires an additional, non-damaged photo of the subject in order to realistically reconstruct the missing areas.

When we are finished with your photo(s), we will email you with a link to your pre-view page from which you can order if you'd like. The prices will be set accordingly, again, individually, depending on the work done.

After the first order, all subsequent prints of that same version will be offered at a 30% discount, for orders any time in the future.

We may also offer different variations of a repair or restoration, meaning that depending on the image, we may offer a colorized version of your photo, just as an example. That is always done on a case-by-case basis.

Once again, please remember that you are under no obligation to buy. If you do not like the results you see, simply do not order. There is never any risk to you, but we do hope you will enjoy our work.
